 Scott Martin        Ontario, NY
 '55 Chevrolet BelAir

Purchased in April 2002 @ Spring Carlisle in Pennsylvania.  Originally a West Virginia car with a body frame off restoration some time in 2001.  In March, 2003, Scott & Ken began the engine project and got it back on the road in May, 2003.

The engine is a small block 350, 4-bolt main bored .030 over.  9.5 to 1 flat top pistons, .490 lift cam, .268 duration @ .050", Dart "Iron Eagle" Heads with 2.02 valves and 180cc intake runners, 1.5 ratio roller rockers.  The engine is topped off with a powder-coated Edlebrock Dual-Quad intake, 2" powder-coated aluminum ported carb spacers and (2) 500cfm manual choke Edlebrock carbs.  The exhaust flows through a set of ceramic coated headers, dual 2-1/2" aluminized pipes and a set of Excelerator mufflers.  The transmission is a TH350 with a shift kit and puts power to the ground through a 3.55 ratio rear end.
