Bill Sablosky of Rochester, NY --
New Look Pontiac --
When I bought the car (August 25, 1997) it was original, but it did have pink and white flames on the front fenders and hood. I rebuilt the 6 with a lot of help from my very good friends at FLCCC. We also repainted it black. Plenty of Tuesdays were spent in one of our club members' garage. Without the use of Mr. Ray Johnson's place for our get-togethers my car would have taken a much longer time to complete. Thanks to his generosity, we finished in time for me to enjoy my car that Summer. The next Summer (2000) was the first Syracuse Nationals car show. As we were traveling there, I spun a bearing on the 6. The rest is history. We replaced the old girl's 6 with a 400 Pontiac, with automatic transmission, one wire alternator, and power steering, an under floor (1977) Corvette master cylinder and re-did the interior. The donor car where the engine, transmission, wheels and steering column came from was owned by another good friend in the car club, Jim Boehly. She runs fine and keeps up very well in traffic now. Hope to see you at a Northeast show soon and keep cruising. The newest pictures depict the metamorphous from ALL PONTIAC to...ONE STEP BEYOND!
