Thank you Mr. Manchester for presiding over the January meeting.
I want to wish you all a happy Valentines Day and ground hog day. I heard Puxatauney Phil has seen his shadow and 6 more weeks of winter are ahead of us, da! I could have told you that because we live in Rochester. Spring is just around the corner and winter car projects are getting closer to being complete. For all who haven't stopped at any tech I want to extend an invitation to stop by and even if you just look and shoot the breeze your welcome. Its not all about the work, its being with people who enjoy old cars and old friends.

I am working on the car show pin and stickers for the 104 cruise. I called the people who have made our pins the last for shows and will be getting art work hopefully by the pot luck supper.

Minutes for January 9, 2010

Called to Order at 7:25 pm

Location – Greece Ridge Restaurant – North Ave. & W. Ridge Rd.

Attendance: Lee & Claudia Manchester, Larry DiLullo, Ben & Vicki Caputo, Joe & Judy Baran, Sam & Marissa Andolino, Fred Cassin, Jean Fornataro, Linda Tefft

Lee Manchester ran the meeting asVice-President, as Bill S. was in abstentia.

Guests: None

Secretary’s Report: Previously posted on website and emailed to all members. Jean motioned to accept, seconded by Ben. Motion passed.

Treasurer’s Report: Balance given, including $200 paid for Chevy Club dues

President’s Message: Car Show – Bill made the requested changes to the flyer for this year. He also developed a prototype flyer for the Cruise the Ridge, which looks really great.

Correspondence: $5 was sent in to Clutch Artists to be listed on their site for the Show and Cruise dates. A suggestion was made that our website have an area to list local cruise nights and such.

The Ford V-8 Spring Fling is April 18^th. The club will purchase 1 table to hand out flyers, and members may go in together on an additional table for selling parts.

Spring Carlisle is 4/21 – 4/25

Fall Carlisle is 9/29 – 10/3

Committee Reports: Car Show – Lee has volunteered to put together the trophies for this year. A discussion was held regarding the number to be ordered. Jean motioned that the

Number of trophies presented be reduced to 50 from the current 55. Motion was seconded by Joe B., and passed.

Old Business: February meeting will be held at the Orchard Community Church at 2285

Latta Rd. from 3:00 – 6:00. Bring a dish to pass, and own place settings.

New Business: Members were asked for suggestions for meeting places and activities for this year. The following recommendations were made:

March – Lindburger’s Restaurant – So. Clinton Ave.

April – Ezzy’s Restaurant – Buffalo Rd.

May – Peaches Café in Webster

June – Poker Run – volunteer organizer needed

July – Picnic at Linda Tefft’s – 99 Hincher Rd.

August 7^th – do Goodie Bags at Manchester’s garage. Members present felt there was no need to meet at Caledonia grounds for preparation.

August 15 – Show Day

August 22^nd – Cruise the Ridge

September – Bill Gray’s at Sea Breeze

October – road trip to Quaker Steak & Lube in Depew

later messages. Pictures of new member’s cars are also needed by Bill for the site.
