Minutes for April 12th, 2008

Called to order @   7:46   pm

Location: Nutcracker Restaurant, Webster, NY

 

Attendance: Sonny & Dorothy French, Norm Kinney, Joe & Judy Baran, Lee Bracy, Bill & Angela Sablosky, Jean Fornataro, Larry DiLullo, Coleen & Larry Klimek, Lee & Claudia Manchester, Linda Tefft

 

Guests: Ron and Alice Bill

 

Meeting minutes for March were published online.  Motion to accept the minutes as published made by Joe, 2^nd by Sonny, approved by all.

 

Treasurer’s report:  Since last meeting we paid the $500 deposit for plaques.  We’ve also received two sponsor fees and 1 vendor fee,

 

Communications:

Receive a flyer for the Shelby show in September.

 

Committee reports:  Car Show - Lee Bracy made a template for signs.  Bill S made signs for the top of his car to advertise.

 

Larry set up the order for Plaques, deposit has been made.  Bill has a sample for us to approve.

Flyers – are available for all to take and distribute.

 

Geroge Nick – Lee & Claudia saw him Monday night at Schaller’s – he is feeling much better – he took some flyers to hand out.

 

Old Business: 

Shirts & Hats for club members are still in the works.

 

Tech day at the Manchester’s turned out great.  A lot was accomplished. Thank You to everyone who helped out! 

 

New Business:  Mall show for street machines May 2 – 4. Is anyone interested in putting car in?  We can give our flyers to Street Machines to include in their goodie bags

 

Syracuse Nationals July 20 21

 

Carlisle – Lee, Scott, Bill, Sonny, Ken are going.

 

 

 

Next Meeting:  May 10^th – Bill Grays at Sea Breeze

June 14^th – Meet at show field, eat at Tom Whals in Avon

(DJ set up needs to be looked at.)

July 12^th- 3:00 pm - Sodus Light – tour the lighthouse and museum – picnic after wards.

August – Sunday - 10^th  Possible picnic

Sept 13^th – Poker Run, parks/ meeting places to be determined, end at Mykanos?

Oct 11^th – brunch at LeRoy 11:30– go karts ?

Nov 8 – elections, King Buffet

Dec 6th – Christmas party – Pondos ?

 

 

Tech nights: No tech night at Manchester’s this coming week.

Larry D. wants car painted soon.
