From the Presidents PC,
From the President:
Well I've got the first meeting under my belt, and look forward
and I am excited about leading such a fine group of people. Participation is
encouraged, if you have something to discuss, please bring it up and we will
discuss it as a group. I would like to welcome new member Tom Morgan and his
wife, Elaine, more about Tom further on in the newsletter. The 2008 show is in
the planning, if you would like to help with organizing the show contact myself
or Bill Sablosky. I have been in contact with Glenn Lever and we will have use
of his trailer for registration and generator for the DJ, Thank you Glenn. The
February Potluck Supper will be at 2pm eat around 3:15 at the Latta Rd. Baptist
Church, directions are below. This is a bring a friend event, under no
obligation to join, just a fun afternoon with good food and friends. I will

Claudia brought to the clubs attention that the by laws
actually state that both the president and treasurer should sign checks.
There was discussion on weather it is really necessary to have two
signatures. As long as the club votes on what checks are to be written, one
signature should be sufficient. Fred also did not remember having to have
two signatures when he was treasurer. So should we amend the by laws? The
bylaws were checked and we have enough for a quorum to make a change tonight
if that is what we want to do.
New Business:

Reminder that
elections are coming up in November and all positions are available. We’d
like to see others step up and get some fresh ideas.

There will be
a cruise at Rick's Prime on Oct. 13, the start position is in question, Bill
will email all when he finds out more. Wherever we start it won't be too
long because it ends at Rick's, which is on Buffalo Road. The cruise is to
help raise money to find a cure for Autism.

The winner of
our annual poker run was Larry DiLullo, 3 aces -- free meal.
Second place was Claudia Manchester 3 deuces --- free ice cream.
Congratulations to both of our lucky people.

Larry is
putting on an all Ford cruise at Fairport Ford, 71 Marsh Road 11:00 Am till
-- on Oct. 13th. All you Ford lovers be there, food, door prizes, and a DJ
are there for your pleasure.

Next meeting
places: Nutcracker Restaurant, Oct. 13th, eat at 6:00 meeting at 7:00. This
is our nomination meeting for next year's officers. Anyone who attended one
meeting is eligible to run.
We need nominations for president, vice president, treasure, secretary, and
3 board of directors.

November 10th,
is our annual King Buffet meeting. The club will kick in $5.00 towards the
cost of the meal.

The Sablosky's
at 364 Sweet Acres Drive will host our annual Christmas party on December
1st. Bring a dish to pass, please call Angela to coordinate the food.
