Hello gang Well the Poker Run was fun last month we got wet but it was still fun getting together. Congrats to Lee Manchester, he won with a pair of Kings. We ended up at Mykonos for dinner and decided to waive the meeting, there wasn’t any pressing business. Our next meeting, we decided to do at D&R Depot in Leroy, we will meet at the depot by 10:15, we been there before and weather permitting it is a nice ride. They do not offer a buffet anymore, since they have started doing a daily breakfast menu. We will have the little room we have used in the past to have our meeting, remember this is our nominations for club officers meeting, all positions are open. Our elections will be in November at the King Buffet, Rt 96 across from Eastview Mall. Tech nights @ Lee’s are going well I hear, and we have started sanding on Chuck’s ’58. I’ve missed a few myself. Last week end Lee and myself along with Norm and Linda moved and set-up a portable garage at Norm’s so he can keep the Mustang out there over the winter. Arthur is 90 years old. He's played golf every
day since his retirement 25 years ago. One day he arrives home
looking downcast .That's it', he tells his wife. I'm giving up
golf. My eyesight has got so bad...once I've hit the ball, I
can't see where it went.' 'He may be a hundred and three', says the wife, 'but his eyesight is perfect'.
So the next day Arthur heads off to the golf
course with his brother-in-law. He tees up, takes an almighty
swing and squints down the fairway. He turns to the
brother-in-law, 'Did you see the ball?' Where did it go?', says Arthur.
'I don't remember.
