2007

From the Presidents PC,

Well was just about half way through the car show season. Its been very good weather. I would like to report that I didn't win the car at the Syracuse Nationals. Weather for Friday was not so good, cold, rain and overcast all day. Cars were light that day. Saturday was so much better, sunny and hot. There must have been 6,000 cars. I traveled with Larry DiLullo and a friend of mine; Paul Salintino rode with me on the way down Friday. Saturday I met my son Bill and we must have walked for miles looking at the rods. George Nick saved a real nice spot for me right at the back of the Chevrolet Court. He arrived at the fairgrounds at 5:30 AM and said there were at least 150 cars in front of him at that time.

I think I have some engine rebuilding to do; I used 4 quarts of oil going back and forth in just two days. Looks like more tech nights coming up.

Our member count is down for 2007; think of some ways to entice new members at the next meeting.

Speaking of meetings, please contact Claudia Manchester with your choice of a dish to pass for our annual picnic. Claudia and Lee graciously volunteered their house for the event. Address is 510 North Greece Road, August 11th, 2:00 PM. Phone number- 392-9050. See you at the picnic.

Yours truly,

Bill Sablosky
President FLCCC
