June
2007

From the Presidents PC,

June, the start of all things that are car related. For this month we start with the Victor car show (June 3rd), Street Machines show, (June 9th, 10th), Caledonia Car Show, our 2nd annual, June 24th and many more for the rest of the summer. For now let's concentrate on June 24th. Things are progressing nicely for the show. Anyone who has sponsor money should send it to Claudia Manchester as soon as possible. The cut off date for sponsor names on plaques is June 10th.  Our next meeting is June 9th at the Caledonia Fireman's Field at 4:00 PM. We will go over the details for the car show and if the weather is nice have our meeting on the field (bring lawn chairs) than cruise to Scooter's Restaurant in Leroy. Larry DiLullo has told the restaurant is small so holding the meeting before hand will be to our advantage. Anyone planning on helping out at the car show should try to attend this meeting so you may be assigned a duty for the day of the show. Our numbers in our club are low and every hand we get to help on the 24th is very welcomed.

Member's dues are collected in the month of June. Please send your check to Claudia Manchester or pay her at the meeting in June.

The first annual Cruizzz to the Brook was held on May 27th in picturesque Caledonia at the Springbrook Inn. Larry Heins and some of his friends decided to put this event on and the weather was touch and go. There were two hand fulls of cars that showed up. (Photo's below) I believe the owner agreed to have another later on in the year, date to be announced.

Your help for the Spurr 5th annual cruise at the Spurr dealership on July 13th will be greatly appreciated as we missed helping out at this event last year. Our name is on the flyer as a co sponsor. The time is 6 to 9 PM, on, yes Friday July 13th. If you plan on helping please let me know at the July meeting or call me at 733-3448 and let me know if you can help park cars. We will be wareing our orange car show aprons on that day so we will be recognized as cruise parking directors. Come join the fun, as we are eligible for door prizes along with the rest of the cruise-in people.

Yours truly,

Bill Sablosky
President FLCCC
