May
2007

From the Presidents PC,

May, weather is the key for this month. Living in Rochester and surrounding counties is always a crapshoot. You could have a seventy degree day and the next will be in the forty's. So much for living in this part of the country, we must love it here? Speaking of the weather, the Spring Fling held at MCC, ESL skating rink on April 15th was a good time for all who attended. The club had a table and I had one along with Lee Manchester and Larry Klimek who shared one. The weather was very un-spring like that day; snow showers instead of April showers came down. Everyone was happy with the turn out and the funds made and of course I spent too much money but hey you can't take it with you.

I bought this 1951 Motor Trend magazine at the fling and the cover reminded me of our tech nights. Inside had an article on car clubs. I scanned the cover and article for all to read. Hopefully we are winding up the projects that we worked on all winter and prepare to show off our hard work. Enjoy the article.

The Street Machines car club will be having their annual Greece Ridge Indoor Car Show, May 4th, 5th, and 6th. Move in will be Thursday May 3rd. If you have a chance come and see George Nick and myself along with all the other cars drive in the mall that night. For the three days that the cars are in there we will be handing flyers for our car show. If you have a chance stop by and spend some time handing out flyers even if the car owners aren't there.

Yours truly,

Bill Sablosky
President FLCCC
